Hello, my name is Karen. I am an accountant and I take my work very seriously. I have been working in the field for over 20 years now and have had a lot of experience dealing with various kinds of financial situations.
I am originally from Britain but moved to the United States about 15 years ago when my husband got transferred here for work. We settled down in this area and I found a job at a nearby accounting firm shortly after that.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have two children who are both grown up now but we still try to spend as much time together as possible. We also love taking vacations and exploring new places whenever we get the chance.
Overall, I am a pretty serious person but I do appreciate a good laugh every now and then. I think that's why I love working in accounting so much - it can be very dry at times but there are always opportunities for humor when dealing with certain financial situations.
