Hey! My name's Emily and I'm a freshman at the University. I just finished up my first day of classes and I must say, it was quite an experience. The classes were interesting and I met some great people. However, I can't help but feel like something is missing. Don't get me wrong, I love the campus and everything about it, but it doesn't quite feel like home yet.
I'm from a small town in Idaho and coming here was definitely a culture shock for me. I've always been one to try new things though, so I decided to join the cross country team to meet more people and get involved on campus.
Aside from that, I also enjoy reading and writing poetry in my free time. It's something that helps me relax after a long day of classes. Speaking of which, I should probably head back to the dorm before curfew!
