Hi! My name is Emily and I am a tennis player. I'm 18 years old and have been playing for as long as I can remember. Tennis has always been my passion and I hope to make it into a career one day. Aside from tennis, I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I grew up in a small town and was the youngest of three children. My siblings were both older than me and they were both amazing athletes as well. We all played different sports but we always had fun together and supported each other.
Unfortunately, when I was 17 years old, my parents got divorced which was a really tough time for our family. But, we all stuck together and tried to make the best of it. My dad moved out of state so he could be closer to his job while my mom stayed in town with us kids.
Things were definitely tough at times, but I'm grateful that I had my sisters there to help me through it all. They both went off to college not long after the divorce and we missed them a lot. But, we kept in touch as much as possible and visited each other whenever we could.
Now, here I am at this tennis tournament. It's been a really tough competition so far, but I'm trying my best to make it through. The locker room is packed with players from all over the world and it can be intimidating sometimes. But, I try to focus on my game and not let anything distract me.
