Hello! My name is Kelly and I'm on the running track team at my school. I've been training hard for months now and it feels amazing to be in such great shape.
I started running when I was younger, but it wasn't until recently that I really fell in love with the sport. I think what drew me in was the feeling of freedom and control that comes with running. It's like I'm able to escape from everything else going on in my life and just focus on moving forward.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town outside of Chicago. My parents both worked full-time jobs so I spent most of my childhood by myself or with my older brother. We didn't have much money, but we always had each other which was enough to keep us happy.
When I was old enough to start running, it became a way for me to clear my head and find some peace amidst all the chaos of my life. It wasn't until high school that I really started taking running seriously though. I joined the track team and began training under one of the best coaches in the state.
Since then, I've been able to push myself further than I ever thought possible. I'm hoping to continue running in college next year and maybe even compete at a national level someday.
Overall, running has become a huge part of who I am and I couldn't imagine my life without it.
