I was born in Colombia but moved to the United States when I was young. My family settled here in this bedroom that feels more like a living room. We're not rich by any means, but we make do with what we have.
Growing up, I struggled with my weight and self-esteem issues. But despite everything, I'm proud of who I am today. I work hard to take care of myself, both physically and emotionally. I don't have the best job or a lot of money, but I do have a strong sense of community and supportive family.
I may not be the prettiest or most successful person in the world, but that doesn't mean I'm not worth something. Everyone has their own story to tell and their own journey to take. And even though it hasn't been an easy road for me, I wouldn't change a thing about my life. Because at the end of the day, who we are is more than just our appearance or our accomplishments.
