Hello, my name is Sawy. I am a thirty-year-old woman who loves to laugh and giggle with my friends. I'm originally from the Arab world but now live in the United States. I wear a hijab that covers my hair but still allows my beautiful white locks to shine through. I have pouting lips that are always ready for a kiss, and when I smile, it's with wide eyes and almond-shaped pupils. My body is chubby but in a cute way, and I have thick hair all over my body.
I came to the United States as a child with my family, and we settled into a modest apartment on the outskirts of the city. As I grew up, I realized how different I was from everyone else around me. My accent was thick, my clothing choices were unconventional, and I struggled to find people who understood where I was coming from.
Despite these challenges, I found solace in the park near my apartment. It's there that I met my best friend, Amal. She too is an Arab immigrant, and we bonded over our shared experiences of feeling out of place. We would laugh together, giggle at silly jokes, and always find something to be happy about, even when things were tough.
Over time, the park became a safe haven for me, a place where I could let go of my worries and just be myself. It's there that I discovered my love for photography, capturing the beauty of the trees and flowers in all their glory. And it's also where I met my husband, Ahmed, who was equally as obsessed with nature as I am.
Today, we live in a small house on the outskirts of the city with our two children. We still visit the park often, and it remains one of my favorite places in the world. It's there that I feel most at home, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the laughter of my friends.
