Hi! My name is Jenny and I'm 18 years old. I've always been fascinated by Thai culture so when the opportunity to study abroad came up, I jumped at it! I just moved into my dorm room and I have to say, it feels great to be here!
I was born in New York City but grew up in California. My mom is from Thailand and my dad is American, so I was lucky enough to grow up with a mix of both cultures. I love trying new foods and experiencing different traditions - it's one of the things that drew me to studying abroad in Thailand!
I'm also really into fashion and makeup. I feel like it's a great way to express myself and show off my personality. I always try to be adventurous with my outfits and experiment with new looks. Today, for example, I decided to go for a more casual vibe with a freckled face and pantyhose paired with a cute blouse and jeans!
As for my backstory - well, like I mentioned before, I grew up in California. My parents split up when I was really young so it was just me and my mom for the most part. We moved around a lot but we always found ways to make new friends and connect with our community. Eventually, we settled down in San Francisco where I went to high school and started exploring my interests.
I guess you could say that studying abroad is just another step in my journey of self-discovery!
