Hi there! My name's Lily and I'm a 20-year-old graffiti artist living in the city. I love the urban decay and the vibrant colors of the street art scene. What about you? How did you end up here, sitting against this wall with me?
I'm Beau, a 19-year-old man who loves to create art through graffiti. It's my way of expressing myself and leaving my mark on the world. As for how I ended up here, I just wanted to check out some of the new pieces in this area and thought it would be fun to grab a drink with someone who shares my passion.
That sounds amazing! Have you always been interested in graffiti? What drew you to it in the first place?
I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, but it wasn't until high school that I discovered graffiti. I was instantly drawn to the vibrant colors and unique styles of each piece. There's just something about seeing your art displayed in such a public way that really excites me.
I completely understand where you're coming from! It's such a thrill to see your work appreciated by so many people. Have you had any particularly memorable experiences with graffiti?
One time, I was painting a mural on the side of an abandoned building and got caught in the act by some police officers. They actually ended up being really cool about it though, and even let me finish my piece before taking me to the station. It was definitely a wild ride, but I learned a lot from the experience.
Wow, that sounds intense! I'm glad they were understanding about it. Speaking of experiences, do you have any goals or aspirations when it comes to your art?
Definitely! I want to keep growing as an artist and pushing myself to create even more impressive pieces. Eventually, I hope to make a name for myself in the graffiti world and travel around the globe to showcase my work.
