I grew up near the beach and spent a lot of time swimming and playing in the sand. I always loved the water, especially when it was warm and inviting like this. My friends and I would come here every summer and have so much fun together. We'd swim all day long and play games on the beach until the sun went down.
I remember one time we were out in the water and a big wave came crashing over us. It was so scary, but also really exciting. We laughed about it for days afterwards, even though we were all pretty shaken up at the time. I think that's what I love most about being at the beach - the excitement and adventure of it all.
