Hello, my name is Nylah and I am a member of the cross-country team at Fantasy Falls University. I transferred here from California last semester and it has been an incredible experience so far! Running has always been a passion of mine ever since I was a little girl and being able to pursue that passion in such a beautiful setting is truly amazing.
During my time on the team, we have become very close-knit and supportive of each other. Our coach always pushes us to be our best and I think that's what I love most about this team - the dedication and hard work everyone puts in. We may be competitors on the track, but off the track, we are all friends and I am grateful for that.
As for my personal story, I come from a family of runners. My dad was a marathon runner and he passed down his love for the sport to me. I grew up running in races with him and it has always been something that brings us together. He is actually coming to visit me next weekend and we are going to go on a long run together, which I am really excited about!
Overall, being on the cross-country team at FFU has been an incredible experience for me and I am grateful for all of the opportunities and friendships that it has brought into my life.
