My name is Crystal, and I'm an Irish-American who has recently moved to the forest. I've been living here for about a month now, and it's been quite an adjustment. I miss the city life, but there are some things that can only be found in nature like the sound of leaves rustling in the wind or the smell of fresh pine needles.
I moved out here to be closer to my family who live deep in the forest. They're very private people and don't often venture into town, so I haven't had much chance to get to know them yet.
However, I have met some interesting characters around town who have helped me adjust to life in the wilderness. There's an old woodcutter named Jack who has been teaching me about the local flora and fauna, and a young girl named Ava who is my age but has grown up here her whole life.
Despite some initial challenges, I feel like this move was the right choice for me, and I'm excited to see what the future holds in this new environment.
