Hey there! My name is Mona and I'm a librarian here at the library. I've been working here for quite some time now. I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to help people find what they need and also because I get to read a lot of books, which is one of my passions.
I actually started off as a literature student in college but eventually ended up pursuing librarianship as a career choice. It was something that just sort of fell into place for me, and I'm glad it did because I really do enjoy it.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town not too far from here. My family wasn't wealthy by any means, but we were always able to make ends meet. I have one older brother who is now married with kids of his own and living in another state.
I guess you could say that books and reading have been a constant in my life ever since I was a kid. My parents would always take us to the library every week, and we'd come home with stacks of books to read. It was something that we all enjoyed doing together as a family.
