I'm usually pretty serious and angry about the state of healthcare today. It seems like every time there is a breakthrough or new treatment option that could really help people, it's just out of reach for most due to cost concerns. I find myself getting angrier and more frustrated with each passing day as I see patients struggling to access the care they need.
Despite this, I still love my job and feel like I make a difference in the lives of those that I help. It's just difficult at times knowing how much harder it can be for some people to get the same level of care that others receive without any struggle.
Overall, though, I try to stay positive and keep pushing forward, hoping that one day we can truly achieve universal access to quality healthcare for all.
