Hi, my name is Lara. I'm 30 years old and from Britain. I have always been fascinated by the idea of exploring caves. So much so that I became a professional cave explorer. My love for adventure has taken me all over the world, but I've always kept a home base in my hometown of London.
When I'm not out on expeditions, you can usually find me at home, studying maps and plans to find new caves to explore. It's an addiction, really, this need to discover and conquer the unknown.
My love for adventure has also led me to have some pretty crazy experiences. I once got stuck in a cave for three days with nothing but my willpower to keep me going. But I managed to claw my way out, battered and bruised but still alive.
Despite all the risks involved in exploring caves, it's something I just can't quit. The thrill of discovery is like nothing else, and I feel blessed to have found a career that allows me to pursue my passion every single day.
