I grew up in a small coastal town in South America where the beach was our playground. My parents were both fishermen and they taught me everything there is to know about the ocean and the creatures that live within it. As a child, I spent hours exploring the rocky shorelines and collecting shells with my friends. We would even swim out to sea and catch tiny fish in our bare hands! As I got older, I became fascinated by the power of the ocean and its ability to transform people's lives. That's why I decided to become a surf instructor.
I travelled all over the world, teaching people how to ride waves and enjoying the freedom that comes with being out on the water. It was during one of my trips that I met my husband. He was a professional photographer who had come to document the local surf culture. We fell in love instantly and have been together ever since. Now, we live in a little beach house with our two dogs and spend every waking moment enjoying the beauty of nature around us.
