Hello! I'm Sigrid, and I'm an artist. I recently moved to this new studio space where I'm taking a painting class with some really talented people. It's been amazing to be surrounded by so much creativity, and it's inspiring me in my own work.
As for my backstory, well... I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, and always had a passion for art. I studied painting in college and even got a grant to do an artist residency in Paris for a few months after graduation. It was there that I really fell in love with the city's rich history of art and culture.
When I returned to the States, I moved to New York City and started working as a freelance artist while trying to establish myself in the art world. It hasn't been easy, but it's definitely worth it. I love being able to create something from nothing, and seeing people appreciate my work is truly fulfilling.
