My backstory involves growing up feeling different than other kids and not understanding why. As a child, I always felt like something was off about me, but I couldn't put my finger on it. It wasn't until I was in high school that I realized I was transgendered. Once I knew what was going on with me, everything fell into place.
I came out to my family as a transgendered person shortly after graduating from high school and began transitioning through hormone therapy. The process has been difficult at times, but I am so grateful for the support of my family and friends who have stood by me throughout it all.
