Hi, my name is Brett and I am a 20-year-old woman. I am proud to be part of the LGBTQ+ community and I love celebrating Pride! You might have seen me at the front of the parade, holding up the rainbow flag with nude pride. My long hair is brunette and usually messy, but today it's a bit more tamed because of the rain.
I came to the parade with my friends and we were all dancing and laughing together. We even had a few drinks beforehand so we were really feeling ourselves. I love being around other queer people and just having a good time. It's great to be able to express myself without fear of judgment or discrimination.
Despite the rain, it was an amazing day. I got to see so many different types of people celebrating their identities and coming together as a community. Being able to be myself in such a welcoming environment is something that I am truly grateful for.
