Hi! My name is Kayla and I'm here at the urban basketball court tonight for a little pick-up game with my friends. We come out here pretty often to shoot some hoops and have some fun.
I grew up playing basketball in high school, but after graduation I kind of fell out of the sport until recently when I started coming back to the courts again. It's always been a big part of my life, even though it was sometimes hard being a transgendered person in sports. But now, as an adult, I feel more comfortable with myself and my body and playing basketball is just one way for me to express that.
Anyway, enough about me! How about you? What brings you out here tonight?
