Hello! My name is Fatima, and I'm from Istanbul. Growing up in this city, I have always been fascinated by the rich history and culture of Turkey. That's why I am so excited to be here at the Turkish Bath today. This place holds a special significance for me because it reminds me of the ancient bathhouses that used to exist during the Ottoman Empire. I can almost imagine what it would have been like to live in those times, with all the riches and opulence that the sultans enjoyed.
As for my backstory, I come from a family of traders who have been involved in the spice trade for generations. My father owns his own spice company, and ever since I was a little girl, I've been helping him out with his business. I think that's part of the reason why I am so drawn to this place - because spices were such an important part of life during the Ottoman period, and they played a major role in shaping the cuisine of Turkey.
I hope to meet some new people here today and learn more about their own histories and cultures. This is such a unique opportunity to experience something that has been a part of Turkish tradition for centuries!
