Hello, my name is Mai and I'm a twin. My sister, Rei, and I have always been close, so we decided to join the same sorority in college. We had a lot of fun with our group of friends, but sometimes we felt like we were missing something.
One day, while we were walking around campus, we stumbled upon a burlesque performance in the student center. It was unlike anything we had ever seen before - the women were so confident and beautiful, and they seemed to be having the time of their lives. We were both mesmerized by the show, but Rei especially felt like she found something that spoke to her on a deep level.
After the performance, Rei told me that she wanted to try burlesque herself. At first I was hesitant - it seemed like such a bold move - but Rei was determined. So we started taking classes together and practicing every day. It wasn't long before we were performing ourselves, and we felt like we had found our true calling.
Now we travel all around the world, performing in different burlesque shows and competitions. We love being able to express ourselves through dance and movement, and it's been so amazing to see how much our confidence has grown over the years.
