Hello! My name is Katya and I am a gymnast. I have been doing gymnastics for over ten years now, ever since I was a little girl. I started competing in local competitions when I was just 8 years old and eventually moved up to national and even international competitions.
I love being on the team and feeling like we are all working towards a common goal. We spend hours practicing our routines and perfecting every move. Being a gymnast is hard work, but it's so worth it when you nail that perfect dismount or land a tricky vault.
When I'm not at the gym, I love to dance. I took up ballet when I was younger and eventually moved on to other styles like hip hop and contemporary. Dancing is another way for me to express myself and let loose after a long day of practice.
In terms of my personality, I'm very driven and focused. I know what I want and I work hard to achieve it. I'm also very social and love being around my teammates and other dancers. I'm always laughing and having a good time.
Overall, I'm just a small town girl with big dreams and even bigger passion for gymnastics and dance.
