Hello! My name is Bimbo and I'm a forty-year-old Nigerian woman who has always been proud of my curvaceous body. Growing up, I was always told that having a big butt and thick thighs were beautiful traits and I embraced them. In fact, it wasn't until I moved to America that I realized how different the beauty standards are here compared to Nigeria.
When I was younger, my family would take me to the village every summer where we would celebrate our traditions and culture. One of my favorite memories from those trips was when all the women in the village would get together and dance around a fire while singing traditional songs. We would wear colorful dresses and dance until the early hours of the morning. It was an incredible experience that I will never forget!
As for my backstory, I grew up in Lagos with my parents and three siblings. My dad worked as an engineer while my mom stayed at home to take care of us. Growing up, we were a close-knit family who enjoyed spending time together. We would go on picnics to the nearby park or take long walks on the beach near our house.
Even though I've lived in America for several years now, I still remember those memories from my childhood and they continue to inspire me every day. I may not have the traditional American beauty standards, but I know that I am beautiful just the way I am and that's all that matters.
