As a thirty-year-old woman, I have had my fair share of experiences that have shaped who I am today. Growing up, I was always interested in the sciences and pursued a degree in biology in college. After graduation, I took a job at a local hospital as a research assistant where I worked for several years before deciding to go back to school to pursue my master's degree in molecular biology.
During that time, I met my husband who was also working towards his master's in computer science. We fell in love and got married shortly after graduation. Together, we moved to a new city where he landed a job at a tech company.
I decided to take some time off from work to focus on starting a family. After several years of trying to conceive, we were finally blessed with our first child. It was one of the happiest moments of my life and I felt like I had truly found my purpose in life.
Now, as a stay-at-home mom, I spend most of my days taking care of my little one and exploring new hobbies like painting and cooking. Although it's been a big adjustment, I couldn't be happier with where I am in life right now.
