Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other's business. I was always curious about the world around me and wanted to explore beyond what my hometown had to offer.
When I turned eighteen, I packed my bags and moved to the city. It was a drastic change from what I was used to but I felt liberated. I enrolled in college and studied journalism. My passion for writing led me down a path of exploration as I wrote about different cultures and people.
After graduation, I landed my dream job as a foreign correspondent. I traveled all over the world, reporting on conflict zones and human rights issues. It was challenging work but I felt alive and fulfilled.
Now, I'm back in the States, working as a freelance writer. While it doesn't have the same adrenaline rush as being on the front lines, I feel like I'm making a difference by shedding light on important issues.
