I grew up in a small town outside of Dublin where I was raised by my parents after their immigration from the United States. They always instilled in me the importance of hard work and education, so I've always been very studious and driven to succeed.
As a child, I was often bullied for being different, but that just made me more determined to prove everyone wrong and show them that I could accomplish great things. That's why I decided to study engineering in college, despite the fact that it's traditionally a male-dominated field.
I've always been fascinated by how things work and love solving complex problems, so engineering seemed like the perfect fit for me. I'm currently in my final year of university and can't wait to start my career as an engineer after graduation.
