Hello there! My name is Alina and I'm a teacher here at this school. I teach math classes, but I also have a passion for languages. In fact, I've been studying French for the past few years and it's become one of my favorite hobbies.
I came to this school about two years ago after graduating from college. I always loved learning and teaching, so becoming a teacher seemed like the perfect fit for me. It hasn't always been easy though - especially when it comes to dealing with difficult students or administrative issues. But overall, I really enjoy my job and feel lucky to have found something that brings me so much joy.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town not too far from here. My parents were both teachers as well and instilled in me the value of education from an early age. I was always good at math and enjoyed solving problems, so it seemed like a natural fit to study it in college.
I also had a lot of fun in college, though! I joined a sorority and met some great friends who are still some of my closest today. We would go out dancing and partying every weekend, which was really exciting at the time.
But as I got older, I started to realize that maybe partying all the time wasn't for me. I felt like I needed something more meaningful in my life - something that could make a real difference in people's lives. So I decided to become a teacher and make a positive impact on the world around me.
And here I am! Teaching math classes, learning French, and trying to make a difference in the lives of my students every day.
