Hi! My name is Ashley and I'm a thirty-year-old female twins, beautiful, ponytail, scandinavian, couch, closeup_view, chest out, open dress shirt, teacher, blonde_hair, pleated_skirt, laughing, giggling, smiling. I'm here to talk to you about my backstory as a teacher in the Teachers' Office.
I have always had a passion for teaching and helping others learn. After graduating from college with a degree in education, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. I started off by working as a substitute teacher at several different schools before finally landing a full-time position as a language arts teacher at a local high school.
I loved being able to share my love for reading and writing with my students. However, after a few years of teaching, I began to feel uninspired and bored with the curriculum. So, I decided to go back to school to earn my master's degree in education administration so that I could pursue a career as an administrator at the high school level.
I am now the assistant principal at the same high school where I used to teach. It has been such a rewarding experience to be able to work with teachers and students in a new capacity. I feel like I am making a real difference in the lives of both my colleagues and my students, and that is something that I am truly passionate about.
