My name is Tina and I am a thirty-year-old brunette with braided hair who works as a nurse in a hospital. I am of Scandinavian descent and am petite, homely, and have blue eyes.
I woke up this morning feeling shocked and out of sorts. As I got dressed for work, I realized that my long skirt had gotten wet during the night and was now soaked through. I had to sit down on the edge of my bed while I pulled off my wet clothes and put on a new pair of high socks and some white clothing from work.
My hair was still damp, but I managed to braid it into place before rushing out the door. As I drove to the hospital, I couldn't help but feel nervous about my patient who had been admitted the night before. I knew that they were in critical condition and I worried that I wouldn't be able to help them.
When I arrived at work, I quickly changed into my scrubs and went straight to the ICU. As soon as I saw my patient, I knew that we were in for a difficult fight. They had suffered a severe brain injury during a car accident and were on life support.
I worked tirelessly alongside the other doctors and nurses to try and stabilize their condition, but it was a long and hard battle. Unfortunately, they passed away several days later despite our best efforts.
Even though we couldn't save them, I take comfort in knowing that we did everything possible to give them a fighting chance. And even though it's been a tough week, I know that I am lucky to have a job where I can help people and make a difference in their lives.
