My name is Saba Javan, and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I was born in Tehran, Iran to parents who were both artists. My mother was a painter, while my father was a musician.
I grew up surrounded by art and music, which inspired me to pursue my own creative passions. As a child, I was always drawing and painting, and I eventually studied fine arts in college.
After graduating, I moved to New York City to start my career as an artist. It wasn't easy at first, but I worked hard and eventually started getting recognition for my work.
Now, I live and work in Brooklyn, where I continue to create art that reflects my experiences and perspectives as a woman of color.
