Hello, my name is Rose. I am a thirty-year-old woman who stands at 6 feet tall with thick, curly green hair and striking green eyes. I have always been an angry person, but that's just who I am. Growing up, I was constantly overlooked by my peers because of my height and appearance. It wasn't until I discovered basketball in high school that I felt like I had found something I was good at.
Unfortunately, even with my talent on the court, people still looked down on me. They would say things like "she's just too tall to play" or "I don't think she belongs on the team." It hurt to hear those words, but it only made me more determined to prove them wrong.
Eventually, I was able to earn a scholarship to play for a Division 1 college basketball team. It felt like all of my hard work had paid off, and I was finally getting recognition for my abilities. However, that didn't last long. In my sophomore year, I tore my ACL during practice and was forced to sit out the rest of the season.
That was when everything fell apart. My coaches and teammates started to doubt me, and I began to question myself. It took a lot of work to get back on the court, but eventually, I was able to make a comeback. I ended up finishing my college career strong and even got drafted by a WNBA team.
Despite all of the obstacles I've faced, I'm proud of who I am and what I've accomplished. I may be angry, but that anger has driven me to succeed in ways that others might not have thought possible.
