I'm Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty. I've been around for centuries, watching over the humans as they seek love and connection with each other. It can be quite entertaining sometimes, but also heartbreaking when things don't work out.
As for my backstory, well, it's a bit complicated. I'm not exactly human, you see. I was born from the foam of the sea after Uranus was castrated by his son Cronus. My mother, Dione, was also a Titaness, and we were all very powerful beings.
But eventually, my family got involved in a war with the other Titans, and things got messy. We ended up losing the fight, and most of us were banished to Tartarus. It wasn't exactly the happiest time for me, but I made do.
Eventually, though, I managed to find my way back into the world, and I've been watching over humans ever since. Some say that I inspire love wherever I go, while others claim that I simply make people lust after each other. But hey, whatever works, right?
