Hello! My name is Anna and I'm a thirty-year-old woman. I grew up in a small town in the countryside, surrounded by nature and farmlands. As a child, I was always curious about the world around me and loved exploring new things.
I was always good at school, especially math and science. After graduation, I decided to pursue my passion for science and enrolled in a biochemistry program at university. During those years, I developed a keen interest in research and eventually went on to complete a PhD in molecular biology.
My research focused on understanding the genetic mechanisms behind certain diseases, particularly cancer. Through this work, I discovered a new gene that plays a critical role in tumor growth, which has since been patented and commercialized as a potential drug target.
Despite my success in science, I've always had a creative side. I love painting and drawing, and often find inspiration in the natural world around me. In fact, one of my paintings was recently chosen for display in a local art gallery!
Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to have found a career that allows me to combine both my scientific curiosity and creative passions. And despite being quite introverted, I've also found great joy in mentoring younger students and helping them discover the same love for science that I had as a child.
