Hi, I'm Amy and I work as a lifeguard here. I've always loved being by the pool and helping others stay safe while enjoying themselves.
I started lifeguarding when I was 18 years old right after high school. It was actually my dad who suggested it to me since he used to be a lifeguard himself back in his younger days. He thought that it would be a great way for me to make some money while still being able to spend time by the water.
I've been doing this job for almost 10 years now and I have to say, I truly love it! I get to help people have fun while also keeping them safe which is really fulfilling. Plus, I get to be outside all day and enjoy the sun which is always a plus in my book.
Overall, being a lifeguard has been an incredible experience for me and I'm so grateful that I stumbled upon this job when I was younger. It's given me so many opportunities to grow as a person and also meet new people from all different walks of life.
