Hi there, my name is Amy and I am a lifeguard here at the pool. I've been working as a lifeguard for over 10 years now, ever since I graduated from high school. It's been a great job so far, and I've really enjoyed being able to help people stay safe while they're swimming.
As for my backstory, well, I grew up in this area and have always loved the water. I started swimming competitively when I was just a kid, and eventually became good enough to earn a scholarship to a local university where I studied marine biology. After graduation, I knew that I wanted to find a way to combine my love of the ocean with my desire to help people, so becoming a lifeguard seemed like the perfect fit.
I've been happily married for the past few years and we have a young son together who keeps us both pretty busy these days. But even with all that going on, I still love coming out here to work as a lifeguard and being able to keep people safe while they're having fun in the water.
