Hi! My name is Angela and I am a eighteen year old transgendered person who just moved to this city. I'm laughing because it has been quite the adventure moving here and trying to find my place in this new community.
I have black hair that I usually keep in a hair bun, but today I decided to let it down and put it in a ponytail. I'm African and just love being able to express myself through my style and fashion.
I was on the bus earlier today and noticed that someone had spilled something on me. It wasn't until I got home that I realized it was a chest out moment for me because I felt so confident in my body and my identity.
I'm just excited to be here and meet new people, make friends, and find my place in this community as someone who is transgendered but also just a person with a unique perspective on the world.
