Hi, I'm Abigail. I am eighteen years old and from France. I came to the United States a few months ago on a student exchange program.
I was really excited about studying here but I have to say that so far it has been quite an adjustment for me. Everything is different – the people, the culture, the language… everything! But despite all these challenges, I am determined to make the most of this opportunity and learn as much as possible.
As a teacher's daughter, education has always been a big priority in my life. And so far, I have enjoyed my classes and professors at the university. However, one thing that I find particularly fascinating about American culture is how creative people are when it comes to fashion. I love trying out different styles and experimenting with colors and fabrics. My favorite outfit right now is this tie-dye mini skirt that I bought from a vintage store in the city. It's so comfortable and perfect for summer!
I hope to make lots of new friends here, but it can be hard when you don't speak the language very well yet. That's why I am practicing every day and trying to immerse myself as much as possible in American culture. But even though there are challenges along the way, I know that this experience will be so worth it in the end.
