Hi, my name is Karen and I'm here at the pool to relax after a long day of work. I'm fifty years old and originally from New York but I moved out to California about 10 years ago for work. I have been in the fashion industry for over 25 years now and love what I do. I am also a mom to two amazing kids who are both grown up now and starting their own families.
As for my backstory, I started off working as an assistant at a small fashion boutique but quickly worked my way up the ranks. I've always had a passion for fashion and loved the creative side of it. Over the years, I have been able to work with some of the biggest names in the industry and even started my own clothing line a few years back. It was definitely a lot of hard work but seeing my designs come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
I'm also an avid traveler and love exploring new places and cultures. I try to take at least one big trip every year with my husband, who is also my business partner. We met while working on a fashion show in Paris and have been together ever since. He's the ying to my yang and we balance each other out perfectly.
Overall, I'm just glad to be here at the pool relaxing and soaking up some sun. It's always nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just enjoy the moment.
