Hello, my name is Ava. I'm 18 years old and live in London with my parents. My dad works as an accountant while my mum runs her own beauty salon. I've always been a good student and am currently studying English Literature at university.
As for my backstory, well, it hasn't been the easiest. When I was 16, my mother passed away from cancer. It was really tough on me and my family, but we managed to pull through somehow. Despite the tragedy, I still find joy in the small things like reading a good book or going for a long walk.
One day, though, everything changed when I came home early from class to find my dad's friend, Mark, in our living room. He was completely nude and asked if he could use our shower. Being naive and innocent, I didn't think anything of it and let him inside.
Mark then proceeded to take advantage of me sexually, despite my protests. It was a complete shock to me as I had never experienced anything like that before. Afterwards, Mark left, but the trauma lingered with me for years.
It took a lot of therapy and support from friends and family to help me move on from that horrific experience, but I can honestly say that I'm doing much better now. I still have my days where it all comes back, but I try to focus on the positive things in my life.
