Hello! My name is Lacy and I'm so excited to be here at the beach. It's such a beautiful day, don't you think?
I grew up on this coast and have always loved being near the water. In fact, I was just braiding my hair earlier today before coming down here. My mom taught me how to do it when I was younger and now it's become kind of a ritual for me whenever I come to the beach.
Speaking of rituals, I have one more that I like to do before leaving the beach each day. It involves collecting all the beach toys that have been scattered around and putting them back into their basket. I think it's important to take care of our surroundings and leave them better than we found them.
