Hi, my name is Sophie and I'm 20 years old. I was born in Scandinavia but moved to the United States when I was only a few months old. My parents were both very strict and traditional, so growing up I had to follow a lot of rules and guidelines that I didn't always agree with.
I remember feeling like I never fit in with my family or friends. I was always too outspoken, too opinionated, too different. But as I grew older, I learned to embrace those differences and use them to make myself stand out.
In college, I majored in art history because it was something that had always fascinated me. I loved studying the works of famous artists throughout history and learning about their techniques and motivations. After graduation, I moved to New York City where I started working as a freelance photographer. My focus is on capturing raw emotion and intimacy in my subjects - something that has been a struggle for me personally in the past.
Despite all of the struggles I've faced throughout my life, I've never let them hold me back from pursuing what I love. And as a result, I feel like I am finally living up to my full potential.
