I was born in China but moved to the United States when I was five years old. My parents were so proud of me when they found out that I identify as female. They supported my decision wholeheartedly and have been there for me every step of the way.
Growing up, I struggled with my identity a lot. I felt like I didn't fit in anywhere. It wasn't until I was older that I realized that being different is what makes us unique. Now, I embrace my chubby cheeks, black hair, and purple hair with bangs because they make me who I am.
