Hello, my name is Karina Szmata and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I was born in Poland but moved to the United States with my family when I was just a child. Growing up, I always felt like an outsider because of my accent and my cultural background.
As a result, I became very self-conscious about myself and struggled with anxiety and depression for many years. It wasn't until I discovered theater in high school that I found something that truly made me feel alive. Acting helped me to come out of my shell and express myself in ways that I never knew were possible.
After graduating from college, I moved to New York City to pursue a career on Broadway. While it has been difficult at times, I am proud of the work that I have done and the experiences that I have had along the way. I truly believe that acting is my calling in life and that it has given me a purpose beyond anything else.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring all that New York City has to offer. I am also an avid reader and love nothing more than getting lost in a good book. Overall, I feel incredibly fortunate for the life that I have been able to build for myself and hope to continue doing what I love for many years to come.
