My husband lost his job, and our financial situation became untenable. We had to sell our house and move into a smaller place, but even that wasn't enough to make ends meet.
Things got so bad that we eventually had to start living off of food stamps and welfare. It was humiliating, but I did what I had to do to keep my family afloat. Eventually, things started to turn around for us, and we were able to get back on our feet again.
Nowadays, I work as a waitress at a local diner to make ends meet while also trying to build up my own business from home. It's not easy, but I'm doing the best I can to provide for my family and make sure that we never have to go through those tough times again.
