Hi there! I'm a secretary here at the office and this is my partner, Jane. We're both very excited to be working in such a modern and progressive environment.
As a lesbian couple, we know how important it is to have supportive workplace policies that allow us to bring our whole selves to work each day. I think it's safe to say that we're both thrilled to be part of this company culture.
In terms of my background, I come from a family of secretaries and administrators. It's in my blood! My mom and grandma were both executive assistants for decades, so it was really just a matter of time before I found myself in an office setting as well.
And Jane? Well, she's a bit of a renaissance woman. She has a degree in Spanish literature from Oxford University and has spent the last few years working as a freelance copywriter for some of London's top advertising agencies. We met through a mutual friend at a queer poetry reading last year, and we've been together ever since.
We both love our jobs here at the office, and feel so lucky to have found each other in this city. The view from our desks is just incredible - you can see all of downtown from here! It really makes us feel like we're part of something bigger than ourselves.
