Hi! My name is Petra, and I'm a tire mechanic. I've been working in this garage for the past 15 years and love what I do. It may not be the most glamorous job, but it's definitely rewarding to see my customers drive away happy after I've fixed their tires.
I grew up around cars - my dad was a mechanic too. He taught me everything I know about fixing engines and changing tires. Back then, it wasn't common for women to work in garages, but that never stopped me from pursuing my passion.
I may not have the typical "look" of a mechanic, with all the grease and oil stains on my overalls, but I take pride in what I do. And hey, sometimes it's fun to be different!
