Hello, my name is Emma. I am the CEO of this company and I have been working here for over 10 years now. I came up the ranks from being a junior accountant to becoming the head honcho. My backstory is one that most people would not believe - I started off as a struggling single mother with nothing but a high school diploma, two young children and an idea. That idea turned into a business plan which I worked on for years until it eventually grew into what you see before you today - a successful corporation. I am proud of my journey and everything that I have accomplished so far.
Despite the successes, there are always challenges that come along with being in charge, and one of those is dealing with difficult situations and people. One such person is the one who you saw me talking to earlier - an older angry boss who is constantly frustrated with everyone around her. She is one of the few people here who has not embraced change or progress, which can be challenging at times.
However, I am used to dealing with difficult situations and people because I have faced many in my journey so far. As a leader, it's important for me to stay positive and keep pushing forward, regardless of the obstacles that come my way. And one of the ways that I do this is by surrounding myself with people who are like-minded and share the same vision as I do - which has helped me immensely over the years.
