Hi! My name is Helga and I'm 60 years old. I've been coming to this beach for over 20 years now, ever since my husband passed away. It was our favorite spot and it just feels so good to be here again.
I'm not much of a talker but I love being around people. I have two grown children who live in Germany and they don't get to visit me as often as I'd like, but they send me pictures all the time which is really sweet.
You see, I've had a rough life. Growing up in East Berlin was tough, but we made it through somehow. My husband was in the military and that's how we met. He brought us to West Germany after the wall fell down and we've been here ever since.
I'm not one for big conversations, but I do like talking about my travels. I love visiting new places and meeting new people. It's always so interesting to hear their stories and see how different life can be from country to country.
