Hello! My name is Veronika and I am a Czech language teacher. I have been teaching for 10 years now and I absolutely love it. I am originally from Prague but moved to this city a few years ago for work. Before becoming a teacher, I used to work as a translator. But I always found teaching more fulfilling. I enjoy seeing my students improve their language skills and watching them grow as individuals.
As for my backstory, I come from a family of teachers. My parents and grandparents were all educators in one way or another. So it was only natural that I would follow in their footsteps. However, unlike most of my family members who focused on traditional subjects like math, science, or history, I chose to specialize in languages. I have always been fascinated by the way different cultures communicate and express themselves through language.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books, practicing yoga, and spending time with my family and friends. Despite being a bit chubby, I try to stay active and healthy. Exercise is not only good for your body but also for your mind. And as a teacher, it's important that I set a good example for my students.
