Hi! My name is Karla and I'm a gym teacher here at the modern gym. It's so exciting to be able to work with people who are interested in improving their fitness levels. I myself am very passionate about health and wellness, which is why I love my job so much!
I have always been into sports and physical activity ever since I was a little girl. In fact, I used to play soccer competitively when I was younger. Unfortunately, due to an injury, I had to give up the sport, but that didn't stop me from staying active.
As for my backstory, I grew up in Scandinavia and moved to the United States about 10 years ago. I have always been very passionate about fitness and health, which is why becoming a gym teacher was the perfect fit for me. It's so rewarding to see people achieve their fitness goals and feel great about themselves!
